Martina Crocker (formerly Margarita Crocker) is an energy practitioner and astrologer currently residing and practicing in Washington DC.

She is able to bridge the perspectives of holistic healing and western science having graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard College with a B.A. in physics and having done graduate work in nuclear engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the 1980s. She grew up in Japan, Austria, Denmark in addition to the United States, and was thereby exposed to a variety of cultures and spiritual traditions from a young age. Having parents of different nationalities ingrained in her the importance of openness, tolerance and the richness of diversity.

Martina began learning about the human energy field in the mid 1980s, studying with Barbara Brennan and Rosalyn Bruyere, and completing a 2-year apprenticeship in Sakkara^TM energy healing with Anamika. Her training in Vivation ^®, a powerful yet gentle form of transformational breathwork, was the start of a continuing interest in mindfulness and awareness practices. Over the years she has trained in a broad range of energy-related and spiritual practices with Tibetan lamas and teachers from various shamanic, Hindu and Buddhist traditions, as well as with teachers in the US including Jason Shulman, Eliot Cowan and Tapas Fleming. She is a graduate of Eliot Cowan’s 2-year course in Plant Spirit Medicine and is certified in TAT^® (Tapas Acupressure Technique), a powerful technique which addresses deep-seated fears and trauma.

As part of her ongoing commitment to personal growth, Martina has explored and continues to practice various traditions of yoga, meditation and sacred dance. She has also learned much from pilgrimages to sacred sites in Nepal, sites of the Black Madonna in Europe, pre-historic stone circles in England and Wales, and sacred indigenous sites in Colombia, Mexico, New Mexico and California.

She started her energy healing practice in 1993 and began offering astrology readings soon thereafter. In the 1990s, while living in the Boston area, she offered regular classes and workshops on the human energy field and how to integrate the concepts of energy healing, spiritual practice and personal growth. Over the years she has also led workshops and trainings in Europe and Colombia, and has been developing a client base in Japan.

In November 2011, she legally changed her name from Margarita Crocker to Martina Crocker, a name which better reflects her inner nature.
